Due to Covid-19, I have got an abundant loss while trading forex in Japan during the last two months which doesn't seem to be recoverable. I am wondering if I can get a deduction on my tax for these losses. Has anyone information about this situation?
I traded forex last year and racked up maybe 500 transactions total if not more. The yearly payout was $ -650 or so. I thought it would be easy to just import the transactions into turbo tax or something but now im finding out that i need to hire an accountant just to do my forex taxes. paying money for reporting the money i lost. lol. im guessing theres no way around it but just asking here as a last hope

Hi everyone, I have just accepted a position working for a US company from home where i will be paid in US dollars. Just wondering what the best way is for me to treat this? Do I:
Open a US dollar account and then play the forex game
Use paypal and have them pay me into there?
Or simply have them deposit it in my account at whatever the rate will be.
Just curious if anyone else is in this situation and what they do about it? Thanks
